Israel Rodriguez-Hernandez, 75, of Hartford, CT passed away Monday, August 3, 2026 at home. Israel was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico and was the son of the late Jose Rodriguez and Rosa Hernandez.

Israel is survived by his five sons, Samuel Rodriguez and his wife Katherine, Ismael Rodriguez and his wife Sayonara, Edwin Rodriguez and his wife Stephanie, Salvador Jusino and Michael Jusino, his two daughters Kisha Lleras and Kenya Lleras, his brother Anibal Rodriguez, his three sisters Canda Rodriguez, Cuca Rodriguez and Haydee Rodriguez, his twenty-two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Israel was predeceased by his son Israel Rodriguez, his brother Jose Rodriguez and his sister Iris Rodriguez.

Funeral service for Israel will be held Friday, August 7, 2026 at 12pm at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
