Jack Buikus, 50, of Rocky Hill and Stannard Beach, Westbrook, died unexpectedly, Thursday May 19, 2011 at his home. He was born in Hartford, son of the late Leo E. and Marion (Kelly) Buikus and had lived in Rocky Hill for the last 15 years. He was a supervisor with Fresh Point Produce where he worked for 25 years. Jack was an avid sports fan. He is survived by three brothers, Thomas, James and Robert Buikus and a sister Carol Ann Burns, numerous nieces and nephews among them Thomas D. Buikus, II and Andrew Buikus. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Edward Buikus. The funeral will be Tuesday, May 24th, 6:45 p.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke.
