James "Jim" N. Diamond, 54 of Wethersfield, passed away on March 29, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. He was born on June 20, 1962 in Chicago IL, to George and Mary Diamond. Jim was a local restaurateur. He is survived by his parents, George and Mary Diamond of Wethersfield, his daughters; Peni Fotaras, her husband Manny and their son Stamos of South Windsor, Nicole Diamond and her son Nico Gonzalez of Meriden and Jade Diamond and her daughter Riley Rosa of Meriden. He also leaves behind his dear friend and mother of his children Lori, and many other friends and family members. Jim was predeceased by his sister Niki Diamond. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017, 11 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Ave, Hartford. Calling hours will be held prior to the service, from 10-11 AM at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
