James Rico, 57, of East Hartford, CT passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Hartford Hospital. James was born in Florida, Colombia and was the son of Gladys Soto and the late Marcos Rico.

James is survived by his two sons James Rico, Jr. of Stamford, CT, Giovanni Rico of Hartford, CT, his three daughters Viviana C. Rico of Orlando, FL, Stephanie Rico, and Karina Rico both of East Hartford, CT, his brother Alexander Rico of Caguas, P.R. his three sisters Yolanda Laboy of Santa Isabella, P.R., Amparo Rico of Hartford, CT and Eliana Rico of East Hampton, CT, and his grandson Matthew R. Lopez. James was predeceased by his sister Rosalyn Rico.

A Celebration of James' life will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends may call at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT.
