Jane Elizabeth Egan (Potter), widow of James P. Egan, passed away on March 24, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. Jane was born on Sept. 4, 1935 to the late Charles and Harriet (Fitzgerald) Potter, of Cheshire. Jane is survived by her children, Brenda Dingwell and her husband Charles of New Britain, Paul Egan and his wife Noelle of Manchester, Nancy Hill and her husband Frank of Winsted, Linda Coltie of Hawthorn, Florida, Rose Egan and her wife Rani of Northampton, Mass. Her grandchildren, Charles Dingwell and wife Doreen, Jason Dingwell, Renee Follo and husband Thomas, Becky Hills, John Hills, Moureen Coltie, Danielle Coltie, David Dingwell Jr., Ameilla Egan, Alexander Egan, Benjamin Egan, and her great-grandchildren Mckenzie, Myranda, Tabathia, Reanna, Anita, Lilly, Ethan, and Aiden, and several nieces and nephews. Other than her husband and parents, Jane was predeceased by her son Jimi Egan, her brothers Edmond and Richard Potter, and great-granddaughter Amber. The funeral will be Monday April 4, 11 AM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
