Loving mother Janet Grace Spence (80) of Berlin, CT., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, October 8, 2022.  She was born on March 5, 1942, in Bristol CT, the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Roth) Spence. A great joy that Janet carried with her throughout life was the love of photography. She found pleasure capturing moments of her grandchildren growing up, and the beauty that life brings. Janet took great pride in her work, she worked at Sams Club in the Demo Department for many years. She had lots of friendships that blessed her with love until the end. She will be sorely missed and forever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend

She was survived by her twin sister, Judith Strobhar and her two children, Beth Eva Carrera and son-in-law, Jose Luis Carrera and Son Bruce C. Funk and her daughter-in-law Maria Elena Funk. She also left behind her three grandchildren: Maria Cristina Funk, Isabella Marissa Funk, and Noah Joseph Carrera.

Funeral services for Janet will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT.
