Jesusa Benitez Arroyo, 86, of Hartford, CT passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital. Jesusa, born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, was the wife of the late Flor Benitez and the daughter of the late Jesus and Juana (Diaz) Arroyo.

Jesusa, better known as Susa, is survived by her son Carlos Benitez of Hartford, CT, her daughter Sandra Holton of Riverview, FL, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Susa was predeceased by her son Flor Benitez, Jr. and a grandson.

Funeral service for Susa will be held at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT, Friday from 5 to 8 pm.

A Mass will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, 10:00 am at St. Lawrence O'Toole/Maria Reina De La Paz Parish, 494 New Britain Ave., Hartford, CT. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield
