Joanne M. Archer, 71, of Wethersfield, CT, beloved wife of Donald R. Archer, passed away Friday, October 9, 2026, at home. Joanne was born in Hartford, CT and was the daughter of Theresa (Coppinger) Ehrhardt and the late Daniel F. Ehrhardt.

Besides her husband Donald, Joanne is survived by her son Jason T. Archer of New Britain, CT and his partner Allison Makucin of Newington, CT; her three daughters Yvonne T.A. Jorjorian and her husband Adam of Alexandria, VA, Elizabeth A. Joseph and her husband David of Newington, CT and Vicky L. Meacham and her husband Ken of Coventry, CT; her four sisters Laura Topazio and her husband Ray of Broad Brook, CT, Ellen Cohn and her husband Scott of Salem, CT, Carolyn Sirois and her husband Mark of Manchester, CT and Abbie Bockus and her husband Tim of Manchester, CT; her six grandchildren Colt, Isabelle, Ethan, Samantha, Weston and William; and many close nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joanne, prior to retirement, had a successful career as an accountant at Fairview Capital. Known for her quick wit and sarcastic humor, Joanne loved gardening, catching up on her favorite tv shows, evening crossword with her husband, sister meet ups and spending quality time with her kids and grandkids. Her favorite time was a night out with her husband for dinner and drinks at Elaine's Restaurant.
