John D. "Jack" Keith, 73, formerly of East Hartford and Manchester, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford son of the late Ann (Scanlon) Keith. Prior to his retirement, Jack worked for Aetna Insurance Co. for over 25 years. He was a graduate of Bulkeley High School, and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a construction worker in his earlier career and had worked on The Cathedral of St. Joseph. He enjoyed his many trips with his twin brother and his wife to places like Florida, out west, Ireland and England. He did volunteer work at Manchester Hospital for a number of years. He is survived by his son Sean D. Keith and his son, Jamieson of Florida, his brother and sister-in-law, Robert L. Keith and Pat, of Wethersfield, a nephew Ron Keith and his wife Lisa of East Hampton, two nieces Patty Keith of West Hartford, and Lisa Cote of Old Lyme and a special friend, Maria Balula of Farmington.
