John T. Lambert, 82, of North Franklin, CT passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at St. Marys Home, West Hartford. John was born in Bridgeport, CT and was the son of the late Thomas{George} and Carrie (Cooper) Lambert. John was a paratrooper and a skilled marksman in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Boilermakers local #237 for over 40 years. John loved hunting, fishing, and was a avid outdoorsman. He also loved his many beloved dogs over the years.

John is survived by his children John Lambert and his wife Georgina of Tuxedo Park, NY Robert Lambert and his wife Jayne of Budd Lake, NJ, and Maizie (Lambert) Zame and her husband Michael of Newington, CT. John is also survived by his brother Richard Lambert of Milford, CT and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

Funeral service for John will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 at 10:30 am at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Buckland Cemetery, Manchester, CT.
