Jose A. Reyes, 76, of Hartford, CT went to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 24, 2022.  Beloved husband of Graciela Reyes (Florez). Jose was born in Comerio, P.R. and was the son of the late Antonio Reyes Vazquez and Carmen Cruz-Rivera.

Besides his beloved wife that he adored, Jose is survived by his son Jason Reyes, his four daughters Jeannette Reyes Garcia, Aimee DeLeon, Jacqueline Pandiscia and Diana Reyes, his brother Manuel Reyes, his nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Jose was predeceased by his son Joselito Reyes, brother Esteban Reyes and his sister Carmen Reyes.

Jose dedicated his life to his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to his Christian music, worshipping and making people laugh. He was a caring and loving man. Of all the different roles he played; husband, father, brother, friend, being a grandfather was his favorite. Jose was an active officer of Iglesia Pent. Tesalonica. The family would like to thank the staff at Harford Hospital for all the care they provided.

A Celebration of Jose's life will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT.
