Jose C. Torres, 62, of Hartford, CT passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at his home. Jose was born in Orocovis, PR on December 9, 1961 and was the son of Mariano and Candida (Morales) Torres. Jose was predeceased by his daughter Cristina, his brother Luis and sisters Maria, Julia, Carmen and Ana.

Jose was a beloved father to Christopher, Stephanie, Vanessa, and Nayelie Torres. He also leaves his bonus children, Jayson, Travis, Omalis, Domingo and Morayma. As well as, the mothers of his children Deborah Torres and Magaly Perez, best friends Juan and Remington. Jose leaves four brothers Ramon, Angel, Martin, David and two sisters Mercedes and Maggie.

He loved watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys and watching his oldest grandkids Javontae and Analise playing football. He loved spending time with his family and hosting big dinners. He was the best Lelo to his 14 other grandchildren too.

Jose was a devoted employee at LAZ parking and loved riding the quad around Rentschler. He was someone that everyone could count on, and he was always a phone call away.

Funeral service for Jose will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 at 12pm at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
