Josefina (Rivera) Ortiz, 81, of Hartford, CT, beloved wife of the late William Ortiz passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, at home. Josefina was
born in Cidra, P.R. and was the daughter of the late Francisco and Margarita (Gonzalez) Rivera. She was a very humble, caring, lovable,
adorable mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Josefina is survived by her three daughters Sandra Ortiz, Marisol Ortiz and Noelia Moran and her husband Hector, her siblings Ismael Rivera and his wife Angela and Justino Rivera and his wife Santy Leon, four grandchildren Dante R. Perez, Kaitlyn L. Perez, Noelany M. Moran and Ryan W. Calderon and two great-grandchildren Camden C. Quinonez and Kolten D. Torres.  She was predeceased by 16 of her brothers and sisters We will miss her a lot but never forget her. In memory no one dies.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 5- 8 PM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT.
