Joseph John Fazzino of Kensington, CT passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on Monday, February 23, 2015 surrounded by his family.
He was one of nine children of the late Vincent and Teresa Rose Fazzino. He attended Middletown High School and Wesleyan University. He was predeceased by the love of his life of 35 years, Eleanor M. Fazzino.
He retired from Torrington ABU in 1992 and moved to Cape Cod and Florida. He was president of Lodge 1249 I.A.M. He served as a member of the New Britain United Way Board of Directors and liaison to the Boys Club of New Britain. He was a member of Elks Lodge 957, Amber Club, and Marconi Society.
He is survived by his son Dr. Vincent J. Fazzino and his beloved daughter-in-law Lynn of Kensington, CT; his three grandchildren Jay, Lauren, and Jack; his sisters Emma Pegorer and Josephine Fazzino, and several nieces and nephews.
In his honor a Memorial Mass of Celebration will be held at St. Paul Church, 485 Alling St., Kensington, CT on May 23, 2015 at 10am. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield.
