Joseph F. Sce, Jr. 70, of Livingston, TX, beloved husband of Janet G. Sce, died, Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford, son of the late Joseph F. Sce, Sr. and Hilda (Paull) Sce. He was a former Rocky Hill resident and had lived there for many years. He realized his dream and for the last 13 years, traveled throughout the country with his wife Janet in their R.V. He was a graduate of the University of Hartford where he received his BS and Masters Degree. Prior to his retirement Joe worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 39 years. He is survived by a son Joseph F. Sce, III and his wife Deborah of Tolland, a step-son Paul Williams of Maine, a daughter, Elizabeth Mancha and her husband Michael of Georgia, a brother Michael Sce and his wife Vivian of Rocky Hill, four grandchildren, Jason McClintick, Amanda Sce, Ashley Sce and Joseph C. Sce, a great granddaughter, Victoria. The funeral will be Monday, September 17, 2012, 6:00 p.m. at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be Monday, 4-6:00 p.m. at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home.
