Joseph J. Schiavetti, 91, of Hartford, husband of the late Maxine (Duncan) Schiavetti, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford son of the late Edward and Angela (Fumiatti) Schiavetti originally of Dazio, Italy. Prior to his retirement, Joe worked in the restaurant business and the building industry. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. He was a member of the Polish American Club and the financial secretary of the club. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday September 28th, 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave. Hartford followed by burial in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
