Josephine L. (Zoppa) Jacques, 82, of East Hartford, beloved widow of Winfield Jacques, died, Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Hartford daughter of the late Marco and Mary Zoppa. Prior to her retirement, Josephine worked in retail sales for the former Topps and G. Fox & Co. She is survived by her son, Wayne B. Jacques of East Hartford, a brother, Anthony Zoppa of East Hartford, a sister, Rita Boresse of Rocky Hill, two grandchildren, Manny and Jim Jacques and a great grandson Ryan Jacques. She was predeceased by a son, Winfield Jacques II. The funeral will be Friday, November 18, 2011, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 15 Maplewood Ave. East Hartford.
