Obituary

Josue "Flesh" Colon, age 39, of New Britain CT, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Born on April 1, 1982, in Hartford CT, Flesh attended Bloomfield Public Schools and continued his education by earning an associate degree in General Studies through Asnuntuck Community College. He was a hard worker and was employed at Custom Construction in Manchester CT. With a strong passion for technology, Flesh loved to play video games and was known for having multiple phones in order to manage all his game progress. He had a heavy interest in music and movies and Flesh and his brothers would call themselves "Black Ninjas" after one of their favorite martial arts films. He enjoyed a good challenge, and a task like removing a virus and restoring a computer back to its original settings was child's play to him. Flesh adored spending time with his family. Countless family barbeques, trips to the lake, trips to Florida, family meant everything in the world to him. Flesh was never one to shy away from a discussion or debate, he could talk for hours about any subject and was quick witted when it came to mathematics. Flesh was brilliant. He was a kind and caring gentleman and loved by all who knew him.

Flesh is survived by his Father Efrain Colon, Mother Yvette Roldan, his Second Mother Iris Colon, Iris Barrientos (Paternal Grandmother), Delia Bruno (Maternal Grandmother). Brothers Efrain, Gabriel, and Daniel Colon and Angel Hernandez. Sisters Iris Colon Quiles, Blanca Hernandez, Kerri Hernandez, and Ginger Holloway. Daughters Naliseanna and Taylah Colon. Daughter Tiyarah Jones and Son Takarhi Menyfield. Wife April Colon. Mother of his oldest daughter and best friend Tania Dimitriou. Nieces Mariah Otero, Karina Cruz, Irianalis Hernandez, and Selena Colon. Nephews Gabriel Jr, Efrain III, Angel Hernandez Jr., and Luis DeLeon and Great-Nephew Josiah. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories his best friend in the world Tylaun Shazel, and a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
