June (O'connor) Mooney, ageless and timeless, of Wethersfield, CT and Old Lyme, CT, went on her final journey on June 25th, 2011, after a brief illness. Born in Harftford, CT, to Jeremiah and Mae (Moran) O'Connor, she was the beloved wife of her childhood sweetheart, the late Alan B. Mooney, Sr. As a child she summered in Point O' Woods beach where she spent many years. She then purchased a summer home in Old Lyme where she enjoyed many wonderful summers. She was a former model whose true beauty rested in her heart and soul. June was a selfless individual who always placed others concerns above her own. Her generosity and charitable acts were based upon her devout Catholic faith. She attended mass daily and enjoyed the company of her "church friends." Mooney, and Jon K. Mooney of Wethersfield, Alan B. and Diana Mooney of Southington.
