Kenneth J. Zawadski, 67 of Wethersfield, loving husband of Joan (Cretella) Zawadski, passed away on June 7, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Hartford, son of the late John and Germaine (Villeneuve) Zawadski and had lived in Wethersfield for more than 50 years. Ken was Vice President of Delco Air until his retirement in 2012. He loved fishing on his boat, vacations at Hawk's Nest Beach and in the Caribbean and the Yankees and NY Giants. But, most of all, he loved his children and grandsons. Besides his wife, Kenneth is survived by his children, Michael Zawadski, Alison Chandler and her husband Robert and Matthew Zawadski and Danielle Levy, and two grandchildren, Owen Buonfiglio and Dominic Chandler.  He also leaves behind his brother Glenn Zawadski and his wife Linda, his brother-in-law Mark and Marilyn Cretella and sister-in-law Anne Cretella and his nephew, Mark Roman and his niece, Sarah Greaves and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kenneth was especially close with his Uncle Bob, with whom he fished and vacationed.  Kenneth was predeceased by his sister, Cheryl Zawadski.  The funeral will be 9:15 a.m. on Monday, June 11 from the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Christ The King Parish (Corpus Christi Church), 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 10.
