Kirti Karunaratne also known as Samantha, 39, of Wethersfield, CT passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at Hartford Hospital. Kirti was born in Suriname and was the daughter of Paritie Persaud and the late Ramkissoon Persaud.

Samantha is survived by her son Kishan and daughter Salena both of Texas, her sister Amanda, brother-in- law Chris, niece Emily and nephew Lukas of New York. She will be missed by her many uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends.

Samantha was born in the country of Suriname where she lived most of her younger years then moved to Guyana where she spent her teenage years following that she migrated to USA. While in the US she lived in many states but Wethersfield, Connecticut would be considered home until she passed.

Funeral services for Samantha will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be private.
