Leah Jean McClure 68, of East Hartford, beloved partner of David Woolley, passed Friday, June 1, 2018 at her home. She was born May 9, 1950 in Hartford, CT. Daughter of the late Leo and Frances (Molloy) McClure and had lived in East Hartford for over 45 years. Prior to her retirement, Leah spent her working life caring for others as a nurse at St. Francis Hospital and at Coventry Chiropractic. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her daughter, Elizabeth Maheu and her fiancé Robert Ryan of Manchester, her sons, Christopher Maheu of East Hartford and Jason Maheu and his wife Lena of Wethersfield, her grandchildren Jessica and Jacob Maheu, and her brother Peter McClure of Tewksbury, MA. She cherished family times and her grandchildren who brought her much joy. She had a tremendously compassionate, nurturing, and selfless nature. Leah was a very kind and gentle soul; she will be deeply missed.
