Lefter Rrumbullaku, 92, passed away on Monday, March 18th at his home.  He was born in the town of Permet, Malshove, Albania. After marrying his life-long partner and best friend, Agathi Rrumbullaku, they moved to Tirana where he completed Professional Training as an Economist, working in various roles within the Ministry of Defense, Unions, and the Railway system of Albania.
Lefter was a wonderful loving husband to his late wife Agathi who passed away in late 2017 after celebrating 70 years of marriage. He is survived by his 4 children; Vangjeli Pina, Flora Hajati, Leonard Rrumbullaku, Vasil Rrumbullaku, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. He was one of five children survived by Alexandra Ndoni, Sile Premto, Andon Rrumbullaku and their late brother Pandi Rrrumbullaku.
A celebration of Lefter's life will be held from 5-8PM on Friday, March 22nd, at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, with a Trisayion Service at 6:30 PM. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM, on Saturday, March 23rd at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Ave., Hartford, CT 06114.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
