BUKOWY-WILLIAMS, Lois Lois Bukowy-Williams, 81, of Rocky Hill and former East Hartford resident, died, Sunday (January 9, 2011). She was born in Manchester, daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (O'Brien) Davidson. Prior to her retirement, Lois was a bus driver for CT Transit for 12 years. She enjoyed traveling with her sister, and loved to sew and knit. She was an avid dog lover and loved her dogs. She is survived by a son, David Bukowy and his wife Linda of So. Windsor, her daughter-in-law, Barbara Zemantic of Manchester, a daughter, Christine, her sister Abigail in Pennsylvania, six grandchildren, Crystal, Jason. Robert, Ramona, Lois Bukowy and David Bukowy Jr. She was predeceased by three sons, Paul and Craig Bukowy and Charles Stevens. The funeral will be Thursday, January 13, 2011, 6-7 p.m. at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield. Burial will be private and at the convenience.
