Luisa A. Perez, 74, of Hartford, CT beloved wife of the late Ramon Ortiz passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. Luisa was born in Azua, Dominican Republic and was the daughter of the late Maximiliano Pineda and Consuelo Perez. Luisa loved cooking and shopping with her daughter, visit her family and share laughs and stories, her favorite food was Patica de cerdo, and loved drinking coffee. Luisa loved to listen to Bachatas especially when cleaning her house and keep it organized. She was very communicative and loved talking to her family for hours.

Luisa is survived by her daughter Daniela Santana, her son David Santana, daughter Maria de Los Angeles Ramirez, her grandchildren, Diego Ortega, Ruvio Daniel Ortega, Eidhan Santana Pina, Ailyn Paulete Santana Pina, Daniela Solano Perez. Her late sister Ana Perez and Austria Bertha Perez.

Funeral service for Luisa will be held Monday, August 19, 2024 at 12pm at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
