Maksim Spiro,70, of  Rocky Hill, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Hartford Hospital with his family by his side.  He was born in Tirana, Albania, son of the late Dhimiter and Polikseni Spiro.  He was a machinist for 30 years in Albania.  He immigrated to the U.S. in 1997 and worked as a baker.  He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.  His life will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Natasha, daughters Hediona Spiro, Kestrina Sala, son-in-law Gino Sala and two grandchildren Gianni and Adrian Sala.  He was predeceased by his brother Aleksander Spiro.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 4, 11 AM in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Ave, Hartford 06114.  Burial will follow in the Green Cemetery, Glastonbury.  Friends may call on Monday, December 3 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, with a Trisayion service at 5:30 PM.
