Marguerite "Peg" Spendolini, 98, of Glastonbury, wife of her late husband Robert Spendolini, passed on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Salmon Brook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Maroney) Mercadante, and lived in East Hartford and Hobe Sound, Florida for most of her life. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Spendolini II, her daughter, MaryAnn Carini and her brother, Francis Mercadante.

Marguerite worked as a secretary for the East Hartford Housing Authority and the State of Connecticut and enjoyed walking, traveling and knitting.

She leaves her nephew, Michael Mercadante and her niece, Francine Buck, both of Falmouth, MA.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of her family.
