Maria (Rinaldi) Corsi, 74, of Newington, beloved wife of Fernando Corsi, died Sunday, January 20. 2013 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Pontelandolfo, Benevento, Italy, daughter of the late Angelo and Lucia (Guerrera) Rinaldi. Prior to her retirement, Maria worked for Hartford Hospital as a Nurse's Aide for 15 years. She was a communicant of Holy Spirit Church, and a member of St. Anthony's Society. She loved to spend winters in Port St. Lucie, FL, where she and Fernando had many friends and warm memories. She is survived by two sons, Ennio and Patricia Corsi of Albany, NY and Frank and Camantha Corsi of Hickory, NC and a daughter Joanne and Sebastian Miano of Newington, a brother Joseph and Rosa Rinaldi of Newington, two sisters, Jenny Mangiafico of Newington and Rose and Donald Gugliotti of Newington, six grandchildren, Adam, Jillian, Phillip, James, Meredith and Mitchell, a great granddaughter Gianna, countless nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Salvatore Mangiafico. The funeral will be Thursday, January 24, 2013, 9 am. From the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in Holy Spirit Church, 183 Church St. Newington. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
