Maria Cotto, 71, of Hartford , CT, passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022 at St Francis Hospital. Maria was the beloved wife of Faustino Cotto. She was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico and was the daughter of Andres and Clorinda Lopez. Maria liked to pray and sing. She loved making jokes. Cooking for her family made her happy, eating from them did too. Maria can be remembered by her strong yet loving personality. Maria always managed to keep the family together.

Besides, her husband, Faustino, Maria is survived by her three sons: Luis E., Eduardo and Chet and daughter Jamie M Rivera. She also leaves her two sisters Clarabel Lopez and Felicita Burgos and many grand and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son: Jaime Rivera.

Funeral Service for Maria will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 12.:00pm at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in Mt St Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:00am to 12:30pm.
