Maria (Malapetsas) Kokkinis, 86, formerly of Hartford, widow of Nicholai Kokkinis, died Friday, March 29, 2013. She was born in Kalamata, Greece before immigrating to the U.S. in 1969. Prior to her retirement, Maria worked for an office cleaning company. She is survived by her son and his family, Anastasios Kokkinis of Athens, Greece, three grandchildren, Constatina of East Hartford and Christina and Roubini both of South Africa, two brothers, Dionisios Malapetsas and his wife Joanna of So. Windsor, and George Malapetsas and his wife Maria of Greece. She was predeceased by a son Kosta Kokkinis. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, April 2nd at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, 5-7 p.m. a Trisayion Service will be held Tuesday evening.
