Maria Rosario Silva, 98, of Wethersfield, beloved widow of Fernando Silva, died on Sunday, September 9th, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.  She was born in Reguengo, Do Fetal, Portugal and had lived in Wethersfield for over 50 years.  Prior to her retirement, Maria worked for Arrow, Hart & Hegeman , for many years.  Maria was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Hartford.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews in Portugal, Canada and the U.S.

The funeral will be held Friday, September 14th at 10:30 AM from the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Square, 50 Kane Street, Hartford.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, prior to the service.  Donations in Maria's memory may be made to the church.  Please visit www.dillonbaxter.com to share a memory with the family.
