Maria "Maite" Torres, 67 of Wethersfield , CT. A beloved daughter, sister, and mother unexpectedly entered into eternal rest with her heavenly father and creator on Friday, October 28th, 2022. Maria was born on July 10,1955 in Caguas, PR but was a lifelong resident of Hartford, CT. The daughter of Julia Hernandez and the late Ricardo Hernandez. Maria loved life, her family, watching karate movies, cooking, and playing lottery tickets. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed, and forever embedded in our hearts.

Maria is survived by six children: Andres Torres Jr., Richard D. Torres, Ydahlie Pagan, Kathy M. Galarza, Bianca L. Santiago, Julia A. Santiago , fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, six siblings: Suzie, Rosa, Carmen,  Dey , Nitza & Ricky, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Maria will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 12 pm at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
