Marion Morris Linardos, 88 of Wethersfield, passed away on September 5, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Charles and Vasiliki (Kopteros) Morris. Marion graduated Weaver High School, was very involved in her church, and worked for the State of CT as a secretary. She was the past president of the Ladies of Philoptochos Society, and a member of the Daughters of Penelope Thaos Chapter 198. Marion loved her family and being surrounded by all of the children. She also loved her garden and her piano. She leaves behind her son Paul Linardos of Wethersfield, and her granddaughter Christina Linardos, her sister Virginia Starkie of West Hartford and brother-in-law Charles Sticka of Wethersfield. Marion was predeceased by her husband George S. Linardos, her brother Michael Morris and her sister Gloria Sticka. The funeral service will begin 11 AM, Monday, September 11, at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Ave., Hartford. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 10, from 1-4 PM at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke, Wethersfield, with a Trisayion Service at 1:15 PM.
