MOTES, Mary E. (Murawski) Mary E. (Murawski) Motes, 89, of Hartford, beloved widow of Anthony J. Motes, died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Manchester, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murawski. Mary enjoyed sewing, loved birds, particularly Cardinals and had a wonderful sense of humor. She formerly worked at Pioneer Parachute Company and took great pride in her job as inspector # five. She loved her family, her grandson and two great-grandchildren were her pride and joy, she will be greatly missed. She is survived by two sons, Richard J. Motes of Hartford, and Steven J. Motes of Manchester; two daughters, Maryann Montenegro of East Hartford, and Carol Santos; and her husband Isaac of New Britain; her grandson, George Rosario and his wife Linda; and two great grandchildren, Grace and Faith Rosario; a sister Myra Szemplinski of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Thomas Motes. The funeral will Thursday, May 6, 2010, 9:15 a.m. from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave. Hartford. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
