Michael Longo, 75, of Hartford, CT passed away Friday, September 20, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. Michael was born October 28, 1948, in the comune of Pontelandolfo, Province of Benevento, in the Campania region of Southern Italy, and was the son of the late Salvatore and Domenicangela (Varrone) Longo. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1970 to 1974.

Michael had a love for classic cars, oldies music and birds of prey. In the summer he enjoyed fishing for rainbow trout, and in the fall he had a knack for foraging for mushrooms.

Michael is survived by his daughter Deanna Longo, and his partner, Patricia Colbourne. Michael is predeceased by his father Salvatore Longo, his mother Domenicangela Longo, his brother John Longo and sister Maria Mancini.

Funeral service for Michael will be private, at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT has charge of arrangements. There are no calling hours.
