Mirian Medina, 80, of Wallingford, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Mirian was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico to the late Luis and Dolores (Reys) Berrios. She had lived in Hartford most of her life before moving to Meriden.

Mirian was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons Jose Santiago and his wife Maria of Florida, and Carmelo Medina and his wife Jenny of Hartford, her daughters Lucy Cruz and her husband Jose of Meriden, and Wilma Delgado and her husband Johnny of Hartford, her brothers Jesus and Anibal, her sisters Nereida, Norma, and Gladys, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four of her sons.

The funeral will be Thursday, October 23, 2014, 9:15a.m. from the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10a.m. at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, 494 New Britain Ave., Hartford.
