Mirta A. Moneo, 100, of Rocky Hill, CT passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Jefferson House, Newington. Mirta was born in Cuba and was the daughter of the late Edmundo and Rosario (Triana) Delaguila. Retired from Aetna Insurance after many years of service. Loved to travel and travelled the world seeing amazing things. Mirta loved her friends and family hosting many parties at their home in Rocky Hill. Her favorite flower was Roses. She loved fashion and was always very well dressed. Mirta was an animal lover especially her dogs  specifically German Shepherds which she owned many over the years.

Mirta leaves behind her great niece Maria and great nephew Jose and his son Jake and daughter Sara. She will be missed by many of his long time friends and family of many years from Cuba. Mirta was predeceased by her husband Bart.

Funeral service for Mirta will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 12 pm at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
