Nellie L. Dever, 92, of Hartford, beloved widow of Wesley H. Dever, passed away May 5, 2016 at Avery Heights. Born in Roscoe, PA, daughter of the late Edward J. and Frances M. (Ball) Gordon. Nellie loved to sew, play cards, and make beads. She belonged to the First Christian Church in Clarksville, PA. She is survived by her brother Thomas Ball of Indiana, her sister Mabel Crocket of Maryland, her daughter-in-law Linda Dever of Hartford. Nellie also leaves behind five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Other than her husband and parents, Nellie was predeceased by her son Wesley Dever Jr. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 10th, 5-8 PM, at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield.
