Mrs. Olive (Daigle) Lizotte passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 18, 2016, at Autumn Lake Health Care in New Britain. She was the devoted wife of the late Claude Lizotte. Olive was born on April 13, 1919, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of the late Regis and Olive (Sirois) Daigle. She was a lifelong resident of Hartford, retiring to New Britain in 1999. Olive was employed and retired from Hillside Manor Convalescent home in Hartford. She was a communicant of St. Anne's Church and a member of St. Anne's Ladies Auxiliary in New Britain and loved to knit and play Bingo. She leaves her son, Darrell Lizotte and his wife, Linda, of Lebanon, CT; her daughter Nancy Beaupre and her husband Clifford of Enfield; her daughter Barbara Modeen and her husband A. Thomas of Watertown; her grandchildren Stacey Lizotte, Jeremy Beaupre, Cory Beaupre and Becky Maggs, Jessica Nunez and her husband John, Christopher Modeen, A. Thomas Modeen Jr, and her great grandchildren Mikayla Beaupre-Maggs, Olivia Nunez, Koda Nunez and Alexis Modeen. She was predeceased by her four brothers and three sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be held before the service from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
