Oscar H. Sapia, 84, passed away on December 25, 2017. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to the late Horacio and Maria Angelica (Capace) Sapia on September 16, 1933. Oscar was a professional soccer player and came to the US to continue his soccer career and then later worked as a machinist for UTC. He leaves behind his son Carlos O. Sapia of East Hartford, his daughter MaryAnn Sapia-Sutcliffe and her husband Walter of Cromwell, his grandson Carlos O. Sapia Jr. and his wife Mary Sapia. The funeral will be held 11 AM on Friday, December 29th at Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
