Palmira Carvalho Silva, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Antonio Pinto Silva passed away on March 17, 2018.  Born in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Alexandrino and Maria (DoCeu) Carvalho.  Palmira was an active communicant of our Lady of Fatima church and was part of the Pieta Society in Portugal.  Palmira is survived by two nephews, Charles and John Vieira.  She was predeceased by her husband Antonio, and her two sisters Adelia Vieira and Maria Isabel Albuquerque.  The funeral service will begin Friday, March 23, 9:30 AM from the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield.  Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Square, Hartford.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
