Obituary

Devoted, loving husband, father and brother. Paolo Ficara (75), died peacefully on Friday, May 13,2022 surrounded by his loving wife, family and closest friends.

His devotion to family started in Northern Italy, Old City of Legnano, Lombardy, where he started working at a young age of 16 as a welder. When he got older and met his beautiful wife, Rita, his continued devotion to family moved him to America where he worked at CT Spring & Stamping Corporation for 14 years.

He is known for his Big Voice, his love of soccer, his love of being surrounded by family and friends to share a meal, a glass of wine, vacationing  with or just simply sitting and talking. His nostalgia and longing of being back home in Italy is why he made sure his home was truly a welcoming home for all at anytime.

He had a love of spiritual knowledge that he was proud to share with everyone. He declared his love for his passion and faith in God up to the very end.

He will be truly missed by his wife of 49 yrs Rita Ficara, his son, Salvatore and wife Lynn, his daughter Samuela and her husband Valerio. He will be truly missed by all his grandkids Daniel, Alessio, Adelia, Venessa, and Alyssa. He will also be missed by his sister from Lombardy, Italy Nella Veronelli and her husband Pasqualino and their kids Roberto, Stefania, and Laura. His niece Maria Pirulli, nephews Paul and Joseph Santoro. His brother-in-law Santino DiMauro and his wife Diane and their kids Jim, Kim, and Liz. sister-in-law Cetina Curcina and husband Nello and their kids Antonella and Marinella.
