Pascuala Alvarado, 95, of West Hartford passed away peacefully on Friday July 23, 2021.  Pascuala was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico to the late Luis Rivera and Carmen Ortiz.  She married the love of her life, Vicente Alvarado at a young age and spent her time raising their seven children, while he was overseas fighting in the war.

Pascuala will forever be missed by her children; Victor Alvarado, Roberto Alvarado, Vincent Alvarado, Jose Alvarado, Maria Alvarado, Carmen Vasquez and Anna Alvarado; her 25 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren, her sister Tomasa Rivera, many extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, brother Jose Miguel Rivera and sister Carmen Luisa Rivera.

Visiting hours will be on Monday July 26, 2021, from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Dillon Baxter Funeral Home 1276 Berlin Tpk, Wethersfield with a Mass of Christian burial beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 79 New Park Ave, Hartford.  Burial will be private.
