Patricia N. Hine (Tracey) 52, of Wethersfield, CT passed away Monday, March 7 of a brief and sudden illness. Pat was born on May 8, 1958 in Hartford, CT. Pat was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Tracey of Windsor, CT. She was the beloved wife of Steven C. Hine and a devoted mother to Rebecca Hine, both of Wethersfield, CT. She was a graduate of Trumbull High School (1976) and received her B.A. in Interior Design from UCONN (1980). She studied in the graduate school of education, also at UCONN. She was a talented interior designer, working at an Associate level with Tecton Architects of Hartford, CT. She worked on numerous projects with companies throughout the New England area and was involved with a number of professional organizations including the International Interior Design Association. Pat enjoyed cooking, traveling, and sewing costumes for her daughter. She was an avid reader and spent the majority of her free time with friends and family. She loved a good story and had a boisterous laugh. She leaves behind three brothers and two sisters & their spouses; Steven & Val Tracey of Newtown, CT; Tom & Beth Tracey of Suffield, CT; Teddy & Kim Tracey of Rochester, NY; Cathy & Tom Dowler of Old Saybrook, CT; and Kathy & Gary Zack of Pequannock, NJ. She also leaves 13 nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Wethersfield Public Library.
