Patricia Dorothy O'Leary, 71, of Meriden, beloved wife for 46 years of John H. O'Leary, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Waterbury daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Hogan) O'Leary and had lived in Meriden for more than 40 years. Prior to her retirement Patty worked at Hartford Hospital as an Operating Room Nurse for many years. She was a graduate of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing. She had a zest for exploring new experiences and places. Patty was an amazing friend who took care of everyone she loved. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer L. O'Leary of San Francisco, CA and Julie K. O'Leary of West Hartford, a brother, Raymond O'Leary and his wife Linda of Shelton, CT and a sister Judith Merritt and her husband Robert of Salt Pt., NY and her Aunt Ruth Hogan of Poughquag, NY. The funeral will be Monday, April 29, 2013, 9:15 a.m. from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave. Hartford. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
