PARKS, Pearl A. Pearl A. Parks, 69, of Hartford, died Friday, January 7, 2011 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to Hartford in 1983. Prior to her retirement, Pearl worked for Hartford Hospital in the patients care department. She was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church of God. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon McKenzie of Decatur, GA, two grandsons, Kemar Hall and Kahlil Wallace and a great grandson, Kemar Hall, Jr., several sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. The funeral will be Saturday, January 22, 2011, 9 a.m. in Trinity Pentecostal Church of God, 3288 Main Street, Hartford. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Saturday, prior to the funeral, beginning at 8 a.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Church Fund of Trinity Pentecostal Church.
