Pedro Rodriguez, 81, of Hartford, CT beloved husband of Francisca Casiano, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Hartford Hospital. Pedro was born in Guayama, PR and was the son of the late Pedro Rodriguez and Carmen Ortiz. Pedro was the brother to his sister Providencia Rodriguez and the late Tomas Rodriguez, Isa Rodriguez, and Marta Rodriguez.

Pedro is survived by his six children: Pedro Rodriguez and his wife Mary Luz Flores, Son Edgardo "Tito" Rodriguez, Jose Manuel Rodriguez and his wife Maria L. Ramos, Daniel Oscar Rodriguez and his wife Johanna Ayala, Carmen "Linda" Rodriguez and her husband Enrique Ramos, Cherry Chan "Rodriguez" and her husband Robin Chan; and his 22 grandchildren: Pedro Jr., Carlos, Joshua, Jason, Danny, Kayla, Gisaida, Yamilet, Jessica, Manuel Jr., Frances, Emily, Wendy, Glenda, Danny, Kimberly, Danzell, Armanie, Taylor, Kevin, Isabella, Robin Allen.

All of whom loved him dearly and will hold him close to their hearts. Pedro was always moving and doing something with his hands. Whether it was spending time under the hood, painting homes, or even down in the dirt gardening, he was always working. Pedro enjoyed baseball and his favorite team was the Boston Red Sox. He went so many games with his family and grandchildren. But more than baseball and staying busy, Pedro loved getting dressed up and going out to restaurants with his family. A quick trip to Dunkin' or a night out on the town was always an occasion with him. Pedro brought so much joy and love into the hearts of his family and friends. We will cherish all of our memories with him and remember him everyday.
