Peter Esak, 93, of So. Glastonbury, beloved husband of the late Mary (Bertussi) Esak, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his home. He was born in Nanticoke, PA son of the late John and Sophie (Kopcho) Esak and had lived in So. Glastonbury since 1950. Prior to his retirement Peter worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for over 30 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran of WW II and a longtime member of The Glastonbury Volunteer Fire Dept, Company 3. He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Esak of Tolland, two sons, Peter E. Esak of Westerly, RI and Gary Esak and his wife Dawn of So. Glastonbury, three grandchildren, Jessica, Kelly, Kevin and Ashley, and one great grandson, Jason, two sisters, Olga Suchoski of East Hampton and Margaret Bonewicz of Portland. The funeral will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no visiting hours.
