Philip G. Chartier, 86, beloved husband for 64 years, of Germaine (Marchand) Chartier, passed away on February 11, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Hartford, February 8, 1930, son of the late Alfred and Helen (Rhines) Chartier, and was a lifelong resident of Hartford. Philip was an army veteran of the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he worked as a machinist at Pratt and Whitney for 25 years. Besides his wife, Philip leaves behind his son Michael Chartier and wife Donna of Bristol, his daughters: Sheila Boorman and husband Tom of Florida, and Debbie Lagueux and husband Wilson of West Hartford. He also leaves 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, and four of his siblings. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by 3 of his siblings. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 16, 11AM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield. Burial with full military honors will follow in Mt.
