Philippe A. Dumais, 75, of New Britain, CT beloved husband of the late Louise (Cote) Dumais passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at John Dempsey Hospital - University of CT. Philippe was born in Grand Isle, ME and was the son of the late Alvin and Lillian (Doucette) Dumais. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Philippe was an expert cabinet maker and worked for Leo's Kitchen and Stairs until his retirement.  He played Pool for many years and entered both local and regional competitions, he also loved his visits to Foxwoods.  He saw hope and a bright future in his great nieces and nephews Jacob, Tabitha, Olivia, Juliette, Sebastian and Gabriela and followed their many accomplishments.

Philippe is survived by his brother Cyr Dumais and his sister Brigitte Dumais Poulin. His Niece, Lisa Dumais, Nephews, Steve and Scott Poulin. Philippe was predeceased by his brother-in-law Jean-Guy Poulin.
